Life Skills
As children grow, their roles, responsibilities, aspirations and environmental context changes. This brings about the need for developing new insights in life skills. In APS, every child will understand that joy of living is a result of holistic development of personality. We encourage every child to initiate steps that will help to become healthy at the physical, mental and spiritual levels.
Work Experience
All students and along with their teacher mentors will participate in this important curricular area. This is divided into essential and elective areas. Essential area covers community service and campus cleanliness. Elective area offers a wide range of activities to cater to the creativity of the students and to enable them to appreciate dignity of labour.
Projects
Project work is an integral part of the school curriculum. The Annual Educational Project, which is thematic, is a unique feature of the school.
Yoga
Exercises and postures that benefit different parts of the body are demonstrated and performed. Asanas are graded according to the age and experience of the students.
Swimming
An ultra-modern Aquatic Complex is also available for students in order to enable them to learn swimming.

Sports & Games
‘Sound mind in a sound body.’This is ensured by making games compulsory for all students. Professionally qualified Physical Education Teachers take care of the sports activities of the APS. The students are grouped into four houses and inter house activities are conducted regularly. The Annual Sports Festival is a regular feature and an important activity of the school.
