TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ADHIYAMAN PUBLIC SCHOOL
Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Adhiyaman Public School, Uthangarai on 5th September 2022 with great enthusiasm. A variety programme was organized. The programme was led off with a prayer song sung by the school choir followed by an innovative inauguration where teachers and students offered floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The students gave the audience an insight into the life and work of Dr. Radhakrishnan through speeches and a quiz programme. The cultural programme included bharatanatyam, western dance, musical performance and skit. Games were conducted for teachers and prizes were distributed to the winners soon after the games were concluded. The day’s programme also saw the students from class 6 to 10 stepping into the role of teachers.
Dr.S.Thirumal Murugan recalled the contribution of the teachers and exhorted the students to imbibe moral values so as to mould themselves into better individuals. Overall it was an eventful day and the teachers and the students actively took
part in the day’s activities.
